I Offer My Life

(Verse 1)
All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, oh Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain, I'm making them yours

(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life

(Verse 2)
Things in the past, things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my heart, all of my praise
My heart and my hands are lifted to you

(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life

(Bridge)
What can we give
That you have not given?
And what do we have
That is not already yours?
All we possess
Are these lives we're living
That's what we give to you, Lord

(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life

(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life
Lord I offer you my life

** It is my prayer to have a life that is pleasing to Him...

It is my desire to serve my Lord with all my strength... in every season...

It is the cry of my heart to give Him praise...

It is the longing of my soul... to be with my Lord and Savior...

**This one life i have now... i surrender unto You my Lord...I AM YOURS!

Men's Guide to Women's Vocabulary

(1) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Don't worry about it, I got it : Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Ferrol, Spain

Ferrol is a city in the Province of A Coruña in Galicia. Located on the Atlantic coast in north-western Spain, it has urban population of 77,859 and metropolitan area of over 241,528 (2007)

The city has been a major naval shipbuilding centre for most of its history, being the capital of the Spanish Navy's Maritime Department of the North since the time of the early Bourbons. Before that, in the 17th century, Ferrol was the most important arsenal in Europe. Today, the city is also known as the home of the shipbuilding yards of Navantia[1].

The city was the birthplace of the Spanish General Francisco Franco in 1892, and was officially known as El Ferrol del Caudillo from 1938 to 1982. It was also the birth place of the founder of the Spanish socialist party PSOE, Pablo Iglesias, in 1850.

**Today, i received an email from Ryan, he's at Ferrol Spain now. From Germany, he was supposed to go to Panama and then to Chile. Unfortunately, a typhoon developing ahead was seen so they need to stop in Spain for 2 days and find a shelter alongside. He finally have signal as well,so that means he can receive all the messages i sent to him. hihi...He rarely experience phone signal and net connection but communication wasn't that weak after all. He always get in touch every time he has a way... so crazy as it seems but i plotted in my calendar all the days that he sent emails, sms and made a call... i so miss him... sigh.

When the Lord takes away... He gives something better...

Lately, my interest in reading becomes stronger especially with Christian literature...Aside from my PINK Bible.. i also love the books of Joshua Harris : I Kissed Dating Goodbye, Boy Meets Girl and Not Even A Hint - to name a few. I remember the days when i was still in high school, I Kissed Dating Goodbye was first introduced to me by our youth adviser Dockies (i miss you doc). It was the start of my LCM knowledge, though i've been in a relationship way before i became a christian, this book helped me to view relationship in God's standard. And through this book i found out that my relationship then was not bringing glory unto His name. And so... it didn't work... The Lord took it away...I was hurt...I can't understand His actions.. for me, It seems to be perfect, everything seems to be right.. but i was wrong. I've experienced heartaches, the Lord broke me into pieces and yes i was wounded. Only to find out that it all happened for a purpose, and for a greater purpose to be exact. It's all because He wants the best for me. Indeed, He is preparing something better for me.

The wound isn't easy to heal after all... it takes a lot of time, it takes a lot of strength to move on and to live my life again. But the good thing is despite of all these problems and trials, i have a BIG GOD with me who never leave me. He was with me during the darkest hours of my life. In the moment of weakness, i felt His strength. In the moment of heartaches, I felt His love.. His unfailing love for me.

Indeed, when the Lord takes away, He also gives something better and even the best. I prayed and my prayer has been answered. It took me years, 6 years to be exact... but even if we're not together now, i know the Lord is preparing us both for a greater future. The Lord is teaching us both to wait.. wait in His perfect time. It takes a lot of TRUST, PATIENCE and LOVE for this to work out. And i know it will cause the Lord has been the center of it all.

**those 2 books above were given by Ryan before he go aboard. i still can't imagine that he was able to read that (I kissed Dating Goodbye).i've been praying for a guy who will read that, and he did. :) yey! Thank You Lord :)

Power for Living

I was browsing my previous blog page when i saw an old entry. Year 2003 when i started blogging, but unfortunately I wasn't able to sustain it. But this entry is never too old or obsolete for me... it is something that keeps me living.. keeping me alive day after day...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going? What is the purpose of my existence? These are the ultimate questions that we can only find the answer in the Holy Scripture. The Bible-the word of God-is the real authority we have. It sheds light on human nature, world problems and human suffering. But beyond all these it clearly reveals the way to God.

The Bible is one book, one history, and one story. First, the Bible is one book, but it's more than a book. It contains 66 books written by 40 authors covering a period of 1,600 years. These authors came from all walks of life and include kings, peasants, poets, prophets, fishermen, statesmen, scholars, a businessmen and a missionary. It is separated into two major sections, the dividing place being the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Old Testament is the foundation; the New Testament is the superstructure. A foundation is of no value unless a building is built upon it. And a building is impossible unless there is a foundation-and makes no sense unless there is a superstructure. Thus both Old and New Testaments are of equal value.

Behind every event in the Bible stands God. The builder of history, the maker of the ages. In its original version the books of the Bible were not divided into chapters and verses. Each book was written to be read from beginning to end. You'll never understand it if you simply open it at random and starts reading.

The Bible is also a story. In fact it is the greatest love story ever written. It is the story of God's love for all mankind-especial you. It is not the book of verses such as you would find on greeting cards; it is a revelation. It must be read, digested, studied, questioned, and revered from beginning to end. Believe that every book in the Bible is about something, and read and reread until you find out what the book is all about.

The Bible also contains God's dreams and plans for our life. From the very beginning God had a dream. The dream was for the man to be restored into full fellowship with God. Jesus was the answer to that dream. All the Godly men across the ages who wrote the Bible picked up snatches of the dream and included them in their writings. By reading His Word, you will find God's will for your life.

There are also some ways in which one can read Bible effectively. One way is begin with the author. Studying the Bible is much like learning to interpret art. First, you should know the author of each book. That's the reason you need to start with the Holy Spirit when studying the Bible. The Holy Spirit worked through every writer of these books, revealing the nature of God. Then you need to learn as much as you can about the human writers.

Another way is by reading for big pictures. A good practice is to train you to read Bible one book at a time. The first time you read a book in the Bible, try to get an over all feel of what the book says. Do not start in the middle of the bible with books like Daniel and Isaiah. They simply won’t make sense until you begin to get the picture.
And the last thing is the you can read for details. There are ways in which you can do that. You can start by reading a book a week, use a notebook, read devotionally, ask questions, respond, memorize your bible, and use Bible helps.

The Bible is also the central to our lives. First, the Bible by the power of God produces faith in our hearts. Salvation is a process of growth. One of the ways you can achieve growth potential is through daily bible reading. If you don’t eat, your body won’t grow. Likewise, if you don’t read the Bible, you’ll never grow beyond spiritual infancy.

The bible also continues to nourish us throughout our lives. Jesus prayed that the bible would have this effect upon His followers: ”Make them pure and holy by teaching them the words of truth” (John 17:17)
How does God make us Holy? By bringing us into regular contact with His word. As we eat His word, as we digest it, it goes into all our spiritual cells, and we become filled with the Word of God.

The Bible is also our standard for making decisions and forming opinions in every area of life. “All scripture is inspired by God is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Brothers and Sisters, the Bible has everything. Whatever you asked for, it is written here. It comprises the Lord’s thousand promises to us. The Bible is God revealing himself to mankind. It is God’s written revelation of His will to men. Behind and beneath this book is the God of the book for the Bible is all about God.
A daily look at God’s Word will give you access to God’s wisdom and knowledge, keeping you safe from wrong decisions and filling you with the power for living.
