Ephesians 4:29

Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. -Ephesians 4:29

Today, I thank the Lord for reminding me about this verse. I thank Him for giving me the wisdom to understand His Word and the grace to apply it in my life.

WORDS we say can never be back. Good as sold, no return, no exchange. It is a tool that can break hearts and break lives that's why we really need to choose every word that we will utter. Let Him and the Holy Spirit guide us and guard our hearts in our everyday walk with God.

WORDS are like swords - it can kill, it can hurt. So we better be careful and mindful of how we say things. May the words that come from our mouth bring joy, strength and encouragement to other people's lives. Let these words be a tool to edify our brothers and sisters. May it be a BLESSING to them.

Now I'm praying forgive me Lord for all the unkind words I have said. I'm sorry if the words that I uttered have caused so much pain to my brethren. I pray for a life that is pleasing to You. Amen.

Matthew 6:31-34

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The Lord clearly tells us in the book of Matthew not to WORRY. In this world where it is inevitable to worry or rather it is hard not to worry at all can be pretty much exhausting. Worrying what will happen next, worrying what to do next and how to cope with this situation so on and so forth are just some of the common things that may bombard one's mind.

But we have to remember that the Lord promised us that everything we need will be given to us, but we have to know the right key that will open these great things : SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

In seeking His Kingdom, it means we have to follow the King. We have to live under His policies, rules and regulations. Same thing as well if we talk about our KING, the question is : Are we living under His rules? or are we still bound to live by our OWN rules? The Lord said BUT Seek first His Kingdom, by putting BUT it clearly states that a certain action must be done first before earning certain reward. And it doesn't end by just seeking His Kingdom, there's an AND word that connects one from the other, meaning it cannot be separated. In order for us to put this into completion we also need to SEEK HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. And by seeking His righteousness it means we have to live in righteousness.

How are we before God? If we will be the same judge that will give justice to ourselves, what verdict shall we give? What sentence can we recommend? Or are we automatically guilty?

Take time, ponder. Why do we still have prayers that haven't been answered?

Now stop and think. Did we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness already?

No one can answer this except YOU.

**I pray that Matthew 6:31-34 will be alive in our lives. Praying for you all!

Kutless - Everything I Need

When every step is so hard to take
And all of my hope is fading away
When life is a mountain that I can not climb
You carry me, Jesus carry me.

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

When every moment is more than I can take
And all of my strength is slipping away
When every breath gets harder me
You carry me, Jesus carry me

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

I need You
You are everything I need
I love everything about You

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need
