HCMC Vietnam : Handicapped Handicrafts

On our way to Cao Dai Temple during our first tour, we stopped at Handicapped Handicrafts. This was established in 1976 with the primary goal to employ handicapped through making handicrafts. The handicapped people were mostly victims of Agent Orange.

This is actually a place where you can see lots of colorful and beautiful handicrafts made by handicapped. I really admire them for their talent and creativity, despite their current situation, they were able to bring out the best in them.

If you wanna visit the area, it is located at 152 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Phuong 17, Q. Binh Thanh, Tp. HCMC

Did you buy anything? WHat was your favorite craft you saw?

It kind of reminds me of the Prison farm craft shop we visited in Palawan!
